A VERY NICE DAY to turn 80 years young!!!!

Family, relatives, close friends and yes, the Mayor Don Eady gathered to help Sylvia Cotie celebrate her 80th birthday.  Celebrations took place on her birthday at the United Church where the women’s group served up a delicious lunch.

The Mayor presented Sylvia with a certificate from the Town of Renfrew wishing her a very Happy Birthday from the Town of Renfrew.  Don shared a story about his years with her volunteering at his business Draperies Plus.  She worked with him for over 20 years.

Sylvia was shocked to see such a nice group of well-wishers and she was showered with many gifts and bouquets of flowers.

She went on to say what a lucky girl she was to have such a good family and group of friends to help celebrate this special day and milestone!
