PERMANENT PART-TIME SUPPORT WORKER

Community Living Renfrew County South is looking to grow our team at both our Arnprior and Renfrew locations.

We currently have permanent part-time support worker positions available.

Flexible hours with day, overnight and weekend hours available. 12 hour shifts are the common but other hours, are available, depending on the program.

We are seeking applicants who are responsible and caring to support Individuals within our programs. This is typically one-on-one supports or two to four residents in a home setting and includes, caring, supporting and outings within the community.  Potential full-time hours available.

Requirements: PSW certificate, DSW certificate/diploma, SSW diploma and/or direct experience working. Current with First Aid/CPR, valid driver’s license and a current vulnerable sector check. Training opportunities-ongoing, including CPI-Crisis Prevention Intervention.

Includes: Employee Assistance Program, additional vacation % accrual, paid sick hours, weekend premium. Opportunity to enroll in DSW apprenticeship program-learn and earn at the same time.

Wage: $23.90 plus weekend premium

Day Camp Leaders

We are currently accepting resumes for summer employment, in a day camp setting, assisting children and youth. The positions begin late-June continuing through to late August, with a work week of 40 hours, Monday–Friday, 8 am-4 pm. Positions are available in Arnprior and in Renfrew.

Qualifications: A Secondary School Diploma. Students attending college or university, enrolled in a social service field and experience working with people with developmental disabilities are an asset. Other requirements will include, a valid First Aid / CPR certification, valid “G” class driver’s license in good standing, current vulnerable sector check and a driver’s abstract are all requirements for the position.

These summer positions are supported through government initiative programs and have other eligibility requirements including being between the ages of 15-29 and enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary school.
