Tree of Flowers

The Tree of Flowers Project is something we would like everyone to help us with in preparation for Community Living month in May.

We are going to be putting this on display in our front window at CAS for all of the town to enjoy for the month of May. So, in April, we create them and in May we display them.

The Tree of Flowers represents that we are all unique and beautiful like flowers. No matter our differences, we all live and thrive off the same tree and roots. Although not perfect, when we come together, we are beautiful.

We want to remind everyone of this as Spring arrives that we can all be better If we do it together. No one should be alone especially in these difficult times. So, please help us come together and show how our unique differences when combined and alone are beautiful.

Artshine Workshop

Another successful Artshine Workshop with beautiful results!!!!!

Appreciation Station

Share the Appreciation!

“The Appreciation Station has taken off at our CAS program.

We believe that respect, appreciation and positivity can pave the way for a great working environment.

Have you told anyone today what you appreciate about them?

Let’s continue to shine that light for others.”

Earth Day 2021

Our world needs transformational change. It’s time for the world to hold sectors accountable for their role in our environmental crisis while also calling for bold, creative, and innovative solutions. This will require action at all levels, from business and investment to city and national government.

That’s where you come in: As an individual, you yield real power and influence as a consumer, a voter, and a member of a community that can unite for change.

Don’t underestimate your power. When your voice and your actions are united with thousands or millions of others around the world, we create a movement that is inclusive, impactful, and impossible to ignore.

Every Earth Day can drive a year of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to create a new plan of action for our planet.

THE POWER OF ONE, THE VALUE OF MANY

National Volunteer Week for Canada is April 18th to 24th, 2021. This recognition week each year gives us the opportunity to think about and celebrate our volunteers and all that they do to make Community Living Renfrew County South and its’ people successful. We are so fortunate to have you as part of our volunteer team!

We know it has been a challenging year for everyone and we know that we have not been able to spend as much time together as we would have liked to, doing the things we would have liked to. We miss our volunteers, the help you provide, and the time you share. Thank you for standing by us and supporting us through these unprecedented times.

We hope that this finds you and your family healthy and safe. We look forward to when we can be together again, and our volunteers can return to our Community Living Renfrew County South programs.

Take good care.

Sincerely,

Your Friends at CLRCS

Helping Women

OPSEU Local 472 and Community Living Renfrew County South worked together to assist women in Renfrew County by collecting feminine hygiene products which were donated to the Renfrew Food Bank.

Thanks to everyone that supported us in this endeavour.
