Take Our Kids To Work

Community Living Renfrew County South is pleased to announce their participation in Take Our Kids to Work day on Wednesday, November 6th , 2019.

We will be offering the opportunity to Grade 9 students to participate in “Take Our Kids to Work” Day.

This is an annual event where students step into their future for a day and get a glimpse into the working world. The day involves students in Grade 9 spending the day in the workplace of a parent, relative, friend or volunteer host, where they experience and learn about the world of work.

After careful consideration by the Human Resources Management Committee, suggestions from staff members and due to the nature of the services and supports that we offer Community Living Renfrew County South will be offering a Community Living Educational Day to honour “Take Our Kids to Work” Day.

This Educational Day will include:

• Information on Community Living Renfrew County South services, supports and programs
• A tour of selected service areas and the opportunity to participate with employees and individuals in selected activities
• Opportunity to meet staff personnel and the individuals that we support Community Living Renfrew County South will be offering this opportunity as an alternative to the child accompanying their parent on shift at the worksite.
