Finally, back on the Ice!

At last conditions were favourable to be on the ice participating in ice fishing. We were last able to go in 2015!! Folks were very excited to be out in our new ice shack, named “The Cave”.

Janice Rozycki caught the first fish, a 4.5-inch-long perch in our new shack.

Valentine’s Day was a beautiful day for ice fishing! It was so nice that Judy McDonald and Liz McFarlane built a snowman that they named Valentine.

Although looking to catch a big pike we only caught perch. Sandra said, “we had 3 bites but couldn’t land anything”.
