Community Living Renfrew County South supports adults with developmental disabilities to work or volunteer in the community through Career Connect.  Career Connect works in partnership with clients and employers to provide employers access to a skilled workforce.

Community Living Renfrew County South provides services to clients and employers in the Arnprior and Renfrew areas.  The objective is to provided expertise and resources for adults with developmental disabilities to increase access to job opportunities. 

For People with Developmental Disabilities Community Living Renfrew County South Offers:

  • Job Training - assessment and skill development.

  • Job Development - job search and job acquisition

  • Job Supports - on-site training and ongoing facilitation between employer and employee.

Advantages to the Employer

  • Thoroughly screened applicants.

  • Carefully matched applicants to meet employer job requirements.

  • No cost for training and long-term support.

  • All applicants and support staff will be covered by WSIB during the training period.

  • Management of employer staff turnover rate in entry level positions and/or out sourced contracts.
