Renfrew and District Retarded Children’s Association established. |

1965 |
Bonnechere Valley School opened at Bonnechere Manor, operated by the Association. |

1965 |
Organization name changed to Renfrew and District Association for the Mentally Retarded. |

1968 |
Bonnechere Valley School moved to new location at Burnstown. |
|
1968 |
Rehabilitation Centre opened at Opeongo Road location. |
|
1969 |
Renfrew County Board of Education assumed responsibility for Bonnechere Valley School. |
|
1970 |
Bonnechere Valley School moved to the Queen Elizabeth School location. |

1977 |
Adult Group Residence opened at 874 Raglan Street South. |
|
1977 |
Adult Rehabilitation Centre moved to present location at 326 Raglan Street South. |

Adult Apartment Program implemented. |

Supported Independent Living Program implemented. |

Four places for children with developmental disabilities approved at Renfrew Child Development Centre. |
